Sysmex New Zealand Announce New Management Roles
Sysmex New Zealand has appointed a new senior management team.
James Webster has stepped aside as Sysmex New Zealand CEO to focus his full attention on his role as Sysmex Australia CEO. Assuming the position of Sysmex New Zealand CEO is Arjit Bhana, formerly the company’s General Manager.
James Webster said “I may have moved to another country, but I am still part of the larger Sysmex group. I believe my earlier role as CEO for Sysmex New Zealand will help achieve a higher level of collaboration between the two companies. I am looking forward to continuing to work closely with the NZ team on a number of opportunities, leveraging our shared knowledge and broad expertise.”
New CEO, Arjit Bhana, joined Sysmex New Zealand in 2001 as Financial Controller. He then relocated to Singapore to assume the responsibility of Chief Financial Officer for the Sysmex Asia Pacific group, before returning to the Sysmex New Zealand General Manager role.
“I am fortunate to have the support of a strong senior management team with decades of experience in the healthcare sector,” he said, “Our major focus moving forward will be to continue providing the innovative laboratory and clinical information solutions we are known for across the globe, while pursuing other opportunities to expand the Sysmex product portfolio. A pertinent example of this is the recent announcement that Sysmex New Zealand will be commencing direct sales of the Sysmex Urinalysis portfolio.”
Sysmex New Zealand has been a major fixture in the healthcare sector for over three decades.
Other changes to the senior management team at Sysmex New Zealand include the appointment of Colin McKenzie as Sales Director.
